The Kenya Taekwondo Federation (KTF) hosted a successful Stakeholders Meeting and official website launch in Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, Nairobi as part of preparations for the World Taekwondo U-21 Championships 2025. The event brought together Taekwondo leaders, athletes, and coaches from across Kenya, who expressed excitement about hosting this inaugural global tournament. With a commitment to plant 11,000 trees by the end of the championship, the event will blend sporting excellence with sustainability, embodying the theme “Taekwondo Values for Climate Action.”

The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the World Taekwondo Under 21 Championships 2025 was officially unveiled on September 18, 2025, at a ceremony held at the Mercure Hotel, Upperhill, Nairobi. The event marked a significant milestone in Kenya’s preparations to host the global taekwondo event from December 3 to 6, 2025, at the Moi International Sports Complex Kasarani.
